Zohar is committed to providing an equal experience to all visitors, and works to make the site accessible to people with disabilities. We invest ongoing effort in improving accessibility.
The standard we follow
The site is built to the Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) regulations.
What's already accessible
- ✓Sufficient colour contrast between text and background, in both light and dark modes.
- ✓Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- ✓A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- ✓Screen-reader support: ARIA descriptions, alt text, and a correct heading hierarchy.
- ✓Full bidirectional layout (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right).
- ✓Respect for the reduced-motion system preference.
- ✓Full support across devices — desktop, tablet and mobile.
Known limitations
Some advanced media components (such as the video avatar) are in development and will be made accessible on release. If you encounter a component that isn't accessible, please let us know so we can fix it.
